The Holiness of God is one of the most consequential doctrines about the attributes of God to understand. Until we understand the holiness of God we cannot understand the depth and depravity of our sin and will try to continue to add our good works and our “choice” to believe in Christ to the work of Christ in His life of perfect obedience, His perfect sacrifice of atonement and death on the cross, and His resurrection from death to life all for our eternal life, justification, forgiveness, and salvation. All that Christ did on behalf of believers by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone was entirely sufficient.
Is it a sin to be cremated when you die? My husband's Mother, my husband, and I are wanting to be cremated because we don't have the money for a funeral and a body burial. Of course, we don't want to sin against The Lord by not being thankful for the bodies he housed our spirits in. But our spirits aren't going to be in those bodies any more and they need to be buried. Are there any scriptures against this form of burial? This question is for Pastor Kaddis.
