There are churches all over the place who believe that they can worship God however they want unless God prohibits it in Scripture. However, God is very specific in Scripture as to how He wants to be worshiped. This teaching R. C. Sproul gives about Uzzah and the Ark of the Covenant is a great example of not only God’s holiness and justice but also about why we should only worship God according to how He prescribes worship of Himself in Scripture.

So, I enjoy the Alien movie franchise. Some of the movies are better than others. I just began watching the first episode of Alien:Earth, a new series on Hulu. It turns out that they are pretty blatantly trying to normalize transhumanism. There is a girl who is apparently dying from something like cancer and the scientists put her consciousness into a synthetic body. If I remember correctly, didn’t they clone Ripley in a previous movie? Anyways now they have progressed to transhumanism.
